I will leave this comment here as I do believe that chia seed is an excellent product but forget the micro sliced, diced or super secret formula buy raw seed in bulk and you will be fine, available at good health food stores. I would not attribute any weight loss benefits to the product apart from the fact you may feel more energized and be more active which in turn will burn calories

Thank for this article. I'd been wondering if the energy and endurance that I've been feeling the past several months is due to the Mila chia seed that I been taking since end April. Every now and then, on car coding days, I would have to take the train, walking 10 minutes briskly from our condo unit to the train station, and again from the next train station to the bank or a friend's office for another 20 minutes. I didn't notice it at first, until my banker noticed that I was sweating, and offered a seat. I declined, instead got my hanky out to wipe my face, as I realized that I wasn't even panting nor feeling fatigue after the 20 minute walk. I take a teaspoon, sometimes 2 of the microsliced chia seed in my juice in the morning, which helps me keep full til around 2 pm when I take my lunch. Other effects of the Mila chia seed for me were heightened metabolic rate, normalized blood sugar and cholesterol levels, more supple skin, and weight loss of 20 lbs in 5 months.
