Strength Training for Triathletes

I saw a great book on strength training for triathletes that I thought I would pass on to you.

It is a sport specific training for swim, bike, run, but it is a great book for sensible strength exercises that can benefit any body that has a desire to get fit.

I hope it is a good read for you Tracey, I have always been conscious of training smart being aware of my diet, and attitude to getting the results I want.

In attempting to find the direction to comment on as my injury will see me out of competition for at least this season,I will be speaking more of alternate training and approach to triathlon,
sport,health,physical and mental fitness.

It does look like a great read--I'll be getting it (via your link of course). I especially like 2 things you said - strength is speed and how they breakdown training by sport and emphasis on core conditioning. I couldn't agree with you more about the importance of core conditioning--it gets short shrift so many other places that I've just learning getting into it only the last couple months. Nice find.
